I think someone just tried to scam me

So here I am, playing some gta when suddenly I get a skype request from some random person, of course, I accept immediatly, because I have nothing better to do. He opens the conversation by asking: "wanna buy 2013 or 2016 cape account", at this point I'm suspicious as I don't know how he got my skype, so I ask how he got it, to wich he replied: "a friend called Jack". Now I'm really getting suspicious but then he said that Jack has mcm, I probably have my skype registered somewhere on here so well, that checks out. I then told him I'm only interested in 2011 capes to wich he replied: "Yeah I have a 2011 cape code", but I'm pretty sure there are no codes for 2011 capes and even if they were, not for $120 (price he said). I did a quick google search on his skype name, and that lead me to a LoanHub scam report of him, impersonating PurpleStinke. So I ask him if he is PurpleStinke, to wich he says: "No why?". Then I ask him for his mcm and he blocks me.
P.S His Skype was live: ogacctrader20
What do you guys think exactly happened? Any thoughts?

If you didn't buy it then how would u be getting scammed? Btw it does seem a bit fishy, I wouldn't buy it

Dont buy cape codes. Thats all that really can be said. Most of the time people selling them are scamming. Hence why cape codes arent allowed to be sold here. If you really must buy a cape code the best time is shortly after minecon when people are selling the codes they have got. But even then is still a risk.
