All you need to do is file some paperwork with them, you can be a minor too. ;-;, it's state not federal.

It can't be that easy to register a company in cali. It's not even that easy here in the UK, you have to be at least 16 (that's actually the only requirement). I believe all company registrations are state though. You don't register companies at a federal level afaik.

Wait, LegalZoom is a company that fills the paperwork for you by the looks of it. hTeams LLC isn't a LLC. You might have registered another company and then hTeams be a DBA of that company. If, by making 'be' bold, you mean you will be registering, up until that point you can't suffix LLC by law.

Also, I'm not a US resident (I'm UK) but I Googled and all registrations are state level as far as I read, however you get some information at a federal level (company tax numbers, you send your records to the IRS? don't quote me on it, not a US resident). Google, Microsoft, etc. are also all registered at a state level.
