I am working on starting a Youtube channel
But I want to know what the recommended recorder is
I know the controversy around that is huge however which ones are the best and affordable

Streamlabs OBS works good I know it is mainly for streaming but you can get good recordings with it with little to no configuring and it is based on OBS.

I have decided to go through Action, however when I begin streaming
I will switch to OBS.

OBS Studio is what the pros use, from what I understand. The only major YouTuber I know that uses it is JackSepticEye, tu I'm assuming others use it. It's free as well.
