I think you missed the point of his post. He is saying get a stable (as stable as it can get) income by getting a job somewhere near you such as a store or a restaurant. If you aren't old enough to get a job at a restaurant I would suggest finding a used lawn mower, buy it and go around to your neighbors offering to mow their lawns. (You don't have to mow lawns, you could offer to spread mulch, rake leaves in the fall, etc.).
