I would like some opinions

So when I decided to come back to Mc-Market after nearly a two year hiatus, I originally came back to make a quick buck and sell an account. Unfortunately the account was scammed off me by a user who was exit scamming. Any who, the user who scammed me ended up getting banned. To my surprise however not too shortly after I see that my account is now being resold under a different username by another member. I decided to message this user asking them where they had gotten my account. All I wanted to know is how he got it (if he bought it off the user that scammed me or something else). The user who is reselling my account has not only not responded back to me but is also blatantly ignoring me. I find this oddly suspicious. Anyway I’m left with quite the conundrum.

I see that I have two options. Option 1 is that I contact Mojang and have the account locked (yes I’m that spiteful).

Option 2 is that I simply move on.

What should I do?

Get it locked, it's not that spiteful. A lot of people who get scammed do so

move on, think that the other dude payed for the account too.. if you got scammed and u know it sucks, dont lock it for the other dude that bought it legitimate.

See that’s just it. I don’t know if the guy who has it now legitimately bought it or if he’s just a ban evading alt account. If he’s an innocent user who bought the scammed account unknowingly then I agree with you. The user however has acted oddly suspicious and wouldn’t answer my question about the account.

See that’s just it. I don’t know if the guy who has it now legitimately bought it or if he’s just a ban evading alt account. Lock it, then if the user bought the account legitimately he can chargeback.

Report the thread/open a support ticket. Scam accounts aren't even allowed to be sold in the first place.
Do note that reports take months to be solved. :shrug:
