Idea about Scamming people

[NOTE: The topic of this thread is not stating it's an idea FOR people to scam. you get the gist. It's about helping against scammers.]

I'm thinking a good idea would be a page or database of known scammers, people who to look out for, 'sketchy' people, or people who have scammed but are not banned yet such as currently under a scam report but unverified/unfinished/still being judged for the report against them.


Some of you might know where this idea is partially from, and to you I say, the gist of the idea came from that, but not the whole thing due to this is XenForo and not the other forum software.

Opinions, thoughts, edits to this idea can/should be posted below, it would be a good idea.

Assuming you mean Do not deal with list, It should be added back, I read the scam report section daily, I find it an interesting place.

There's an automated system for this that you can use but then again I doubt people can do it with XenForo.

Check the scam report section before doing deals, is all anyone can really tell you, and truthfully I think stating that you wish for them to fuck off will just rile them up and possibly make them scam more. Like telling your girlfriend to calm her shit pisses her off even more. You can't really handle the situation unless you're completely calm.

I completely agree. But sometimes, they really don't know what they are doing and they might wanna think twice before they do it. Before it gets out of hand. Like the situation i am in right now.

Or maybe just trade ban them and right on there member titles that they should not be traded with. This way they can still participate in the forums, but just not the trading section. Sometimes it is just fun to talk to some people.

Most of the forums is trade, buy, or sell. They would still add the people selling on skype and do it there. Might as well take the knife away from the child who's cut himself while he hangs around in a kitchen full of chefs and they assume he's mature enough to be handling cookware.
