Ideas on a completely new gamemode?

Hello all.

I come asking your opinion on what new gamemode you would like to see created. Minecraft servers are getting to be very dry, with multiple servers copying each other. There aren’t any new things to play nor are there any creative minds when it comes to server designing and creating.

As a developer, it’s very hard to create a server that’s new when you cannot reach out to players to find what they actually enjoy playing, or what they want to see made.

I would like to know what gamemodes or ideas you like or what you think would be awesome to play. Doesn’t have to be a typed paragraph, just a simple concept with a few few small features.

I personally think an escape room game mode would be pretty awesome, I've done a bunch in the past IRL and haven't seen one done in Minecraft before, would be an interesting concept if you did multiple rooms and combined custom models and textures to make it more enjoyable.

That’s a great mini game idea! Does anyone have any ideas for a competitive gamemode?
