Basically, ive gotten into csgo and have started to get bored of the game itself and want to try something new with the game itself, therefore i've picked up the interest of video edits

If anyone you know or if you know how to do these, and not necessarily this, but have the skills to do edits like this ex.

Please Either DM me on here or add me on skype @ kmcc-007

Disclaimer: I don't actually edit in that style, but have been in the creative field for ~5+ years.

Sound design/music has a lot in common with editing. For example, you have the concept of stacking. A single hit of a drum won't sound as interesting to the listener as a couple of instruments playing in harmony. The same goes for effects in videos such as the ones you've linked.

Slow down the videos and analyse what is happening at any given moment. Is there a slowdown of time? What is happening to the sound? Are there colours flashing on the screen?

Once you get used to this process of analysing what is happening and how it affects the video, you can start to make your own videos (by thinking what you're actually doing, not just mashing buttons and hoping that something cools comes out) Each effect will probably be very basic in nature.

The most basic things you will need to learn to create videos like that is:
1. Colour Correction / Colour Grading
2. Time Remapping (Velocity in Sony Vegas IIRC)
3. Sound editing (changing highs/mids/lows and other stuff like that)
4. Basic concepts of cinema, colour etc
5. How to analyse/break down footage and how to learn from that
6. Stack stuff, stack a lot of stuff ( but not too much :) )

Most importantly you will need to just experiment a lot and learn from your experiments. Share with people better than you and ask for feedback (for example MitoEdits sometimes watches viewer submissions on stream).

Iteration is key, fam.

edit: I don't know if MitoEdits has VODs enabled on his twitch, but he edits on stream quite frequently and has a style similar to the videos you've linked.

I used to do this stuff all the time (mainly COD, but w/e), however, it's not something you can really get lessons on. I recommend you watch a few editing channels, like T3C or Obtain Squad, they are some really good editors that most people in the editing community know and discuss. What I really found useful when editing is watching other people edit and speaking to more experienced people. Speaking to someone more experienced and knowledgeable than you is fairly logical for anything, but editing is different because the creative side is more important when becoming a 'good' editor. The main idea around it is: you visualise an edit, now you need the skill set to put that into a visual production, which is where the more experienced person comes into play. Play around with editing programs (I definitely recommend Adobe After Effects and maybe a touch of Sony Vegas) and see what you can learn from that. When you run into problems or don't know how to create something, you ask, which is how you learn, not by dedicated lessons.

I'd be happy to help you as long as you don't constantly spam me 24/7 (PM me). Here is my channel for reference.
