'Ignore' in shoutbox doesn't work on Chrome 65

Title says it all.
When I click ignore I still see their messages, when I refresh the page it tells me to ignore again.

Yeah well an old chromebook is pretty limiting, would be super nice to just not be able to see people who I don't want to see especially when they're constantly degrading/discriminating people incl me :tup:

It's not 'amazingly outdated'; it's a year old, and it should still work.

Not when you run an outdated chromebook that doesn't support it;

old chromebook is pretty limiting

For very specific issues such as this one I don't think we can justify custom development to fix issues related to outdated browsers. If you are unable to update due to limitations with your browser being outdated then please switch to a different browser. The ignore functionality isn't crucial for use on the forum, so this isn't something urgent for us to fix.
