Who are we?
The Ikari Network is a new upcoming server that will provide players with a unique and action-driven experience. We plan to release with several gamemodes, however, our main priority is hardcore factions.
Why should you apply?
We're an unreleased network with no guaranteed return on our investment, but we're not paying you with equity. We're willing to pay you either per hour, or per project, it's entirely up to you. We offer truly competitive wages and a chance to work at a network with high-quality code.
What are we looking for?
We're looking for an extremely experienced Java developer who:
- Has an adept understanding of Java
- Do not apply if you've just discovered Java conventions
- Has an adept understanding of the Bukkit API (Bungee API is a plus)
- Has an adept understanding of GitHub
- Creating separate branches
- Managing pull requests
- Organized and conventional naming
- Has an adept understanding of MongoDB
- Writing, saving, querying, etc
- Creating document structures that make sense
- Has an adept understanding of Redis (specifically Jedis)
- PUB/SUB
- LPUSH/RPUSH
- LPOP/BLPOP
- Any other means of cross-network communication
- Has adept English language skills (reading and writing)
- Has a microphone and TeamSpeak
- Has the ability to pass the technical interview
- Has the ability to sign a non-disclosure agreement
