People can't a greencard/citizenship because they are not qualified enough for a decent job, can't read or write, have bad morals(criminal record), etc. Now, who's more likely to rob/rape/etc? I agree with the universal health care, demilitarizing the police and I guess minimum wage too. I don't agree with his wealth distribution and increasing taxes though. The top 1% has about 35% of the nation's wealth but they are responsible for paying about for 50% of the nation's taxes. They're already paying MORE than their fair share of taxes, yet Bernie wants to raise it even more.
You know why? Because the middle class are getting less and less of the overall money in America, the top 1 percent are gaining money faster and faster while the middle class are getting poorer and poorer.
Because they've worked to get to that point, just because some people are smarter and more willing to do hard work than others doesn't mean they should pay a higher percentage of their income on taxes.
The middle class are the ones giving the top 1% the money and now they're complaining? Yes there are some monopolies like health insurance, water, oil companies, banks, but otherwise, no one is forcing you to spend money on stocks, things like tv, junk food, gym subscriptions, etc. The top 1% create products and services for people to enjoy and make their lives easier. They have risked all their life savings by starting up a company, they spend 100+ hours a week working, etc. No one is forced to buy things from them(unless it's a monopoly), but people DO, because they believe it's a good product. Now the top 1% is being attacked for that?
Also raising the taxes for the top 1% won't fix anything. The reason many millionaires and billionaires put their money and companies off shores was because they were constantly being attacked by politicians with unfair taxation. Now raising the tax even more, would just result in the 1% moving, finding other ways to put their money in other places, etc.

Regardless of different policies, I don't have a preference for any of the major candidates. One of the largest reasons that Trump is popular is because of his slogan: Make America Great Again. People feel like he's going to be keep up safe by bulking the military and being overtly aggressive for intimidation. However, I abhor Trump because of his constant foot-and-mouth show; it's my own [humble] opinion that he would misrepresent America as a stereotypical judging world power, regardless of Trump's less announced beliefs. On the other hand, I don't think Bernie Sanders is a good candidate either because he's an ideological purist. He has excellent beliefs and ideas on how the country could be run, but most of them only work in a perfect world, which is why people compare his ideas to communism. And of course, I don't support Hillary because of her constant mistrusts and the possible secrets she would keep from the American public in her potential presidency. I also don't appreciate the way she lords her gender over the other candidates.

I have to disagree. Most rich people [referring to the smallest population of the most wealthy people] are not criminals. It's true that many of them are privileged -- they could never get that wealth on their own without help in the past -- but it doesn't mean they should necessarily be forced to redistribute their money. And Trump doesn't necessarily buy influence. He brazenly admitted with Ted Cruz that he that his large amount of campaign money has given him ample benefits that others did not have as an advantage. In addition, in the past, he donated over $580,000 to Democrats from 1989 to 2011. However, when his ambition for the presidential election began in 2011, he began donating 99% of to the Republican party. He may argue that he does not buy politicans, but still uses his vast amounts of monetary gain for political advantages.
