Dear Staff,

As a common victim of false reputation (here are the rules: http://prntscr.com/ekw0yu), I feel that it is needed to make this post to save myself from further distress and others. I've seen this multiple times where people have been given false reputation that has ruined their opportunities and made them completely irrelevant and ineligible to receive any form of respect on this website. Also, little disclaimer, I do not give a single fuck sry for swearing, broken the pussies code of conduct since everyone on mcmarket is so professional and well-to-do with! ur really not ur just trying to act like stuck-up fuc if people have made similar posts about this prior to mine, I want to give this attention. This needs to be fixed and taken seriously.

A lot of people feel the same way that I do, in that you should only be able to add reputation to a users profile after a deal has gone through or they have attempted to scam you. The reason I feel that you should only be able to add reputation to a users profile after a deal has gone through is because there are people like Bootwar, choke me, myself and many others who are victims of people calling us "toxic" and "rude" because of our past and informing others not to deal with us, despite us having no intentions of scamming. Here are some examples of this: http://prntscr.com/ekw7f8, http://prntscr.com/ekw7lt, http://prntscr.com/ekw7t3, http://prntscr.com/ekw7xu, http://prntscr.com/ekw87c, http://prntscr.com/ekw8k1. Even Doge has made a post about this, where he says these exact words, "A user says something mildly rude to someone else, so they get their friends to team up and -rep them.", which is exactly what is happening to people like me (perfectly showcased by the situation between me and Cry, which every single member of the community is fully aware of. Also, Cry, if you are reading this I do apologize for the actions I took over the course of our argument). Although I do feel that you should be allowed to -rep someone for being toxic, I don't feel it should be implemented as that will be abused nonetheless, despite the rule being reinforced twice as much as it already is.

To address the reason as to why I feel that an option should be added to the reputation system to claim that a user has attempted to scam you, is so that you can inform other users about this so that no other users will be in danger of being scammed. I hope that this comes to light as soon as possible.

I appreciate your time and don't just disregard this post,
Mikey.

Yeah, I feel like at the very least we should get a post made by staff in general that gives a list of examples as to what they consider to be acceptable rep and false rep. They're the ones making the decision, after all.

According to those rules, the ways in which people give reputation and the lack of enforcement from staff... The system has nothing to do with trading and is a popularity contest. That's interesting, because when it was developed by Ajdin it was intended to be for trading.

No it wasn't. Initially when it was released it was for just for deals and when Bosny started managing the site he removed it and a few months later re-introduced it allowing people to give reputation out for whatever reason.

We have the agree rating for a reason, I'd recommend you to use it to prevent warnings.

Adding reputation to a user only after a deal is done isn't possible right now.

Denied, thanks for the future.
