Hi,

I know that the majority of people won't be affected by this, but since I do terraforming, the files I have for large terrain maps are pretty big, but I can't sell them here due to the file limit. I'm not sure what it is at the moment, but I have a file that's 300 MB, and that's not even my largest one and I can't sell them.

Could we increase the file limit, or allow a sale to direct them to a mediafire page for example.

Thanks

I'll say it before any staff says it, you should forget about a 300mb size limit, or even less than that.

Can we allow 3rd party links in our resources to bypass the limit?

The only external links which you are allowed to use in your resource downloads are ones which you also provide in your resource description so that your buyers can verify that the link still works and the contents at the other end of the link are as expected.
We have rules requiring that your resource download must contain the product.
The download does not contain the product if it merely contains a link to the product.

Supremes are able to upload up to 200MB files. Non-Supremes 87MB

Due to restrictions with the Cloudflare plan we're on, we are unable to exceed 200MB.
Increasing this would require upgrading to Cloudflare Enterprise which is simply outside our budget.

If you need to upload files larger than 200mb, I suggest using a third-party webshop of some sort. There's plenty out there.
Though tbh, you really won't need it for 90% of the types of content you might upload. Not talking about you specifically, more like ythe majority of MCM[DOUBLEPOST=1543859716][/DOUBLEPOST]

Look dude, as a fellow terraformer I can sympathize, but you can make maps below 200mb as well.
If it wasn't for the hard size limit with Cloudflare, I'd suggest MCM allow you to upload a file larger than your normal size limit for a one-time fee ($5 or so, idk), but with that limit being there an upgrade would be a big risk, one that there's not enough demand for.
Try something like Sellfy, Rocketr, etc. Those DO allow external download links. I think sellfy has a 2GB upload limit, idk what Rocketr has, but you can upload a .txt with a download link as well.

Not only that but couldn’t you zip up the file on winrar?
