So often these days I still see too much shit posting. Some examples include:
  • Glws
  • Clean asf
  • Nice account
  • Looks cool
The list could go on. I know it's already against the rules to shit post, but it needs to be a bit of a heavier punishment. Yesterday I reported a user who literally spammed the OG/Semi-OG sections with 25 random "glws" posts. Doge can confirm as he deleted them all. There's too many of these posts.

I also think we need to filter out "glws" and it's potential various forms. To help stop people from doing it.

We can't filter out glws because people sometimes say it after a long message, or a thought.

I do agree on the part where we punish shit posters and post farmers more though.
There's honestly no need to say glws here... it always gets used to make quick posts.

If they actually want to say good luck with selling, just type it all out.

I'm pretty sure there was a thread like this and I posted on it saying we need something in place where if the post being submitted is solely "glws", "vouch", or a similar variation they get a little message explaining low quality posting isn't allowed with a link to the rules.

I believe we just need to report the glws more often.

People should only reply to sales threads if they have a question or would like to bid/buy & sell.
I don't think that we need to up the punishment. I think a verbal warning would give someone the heads up and prevent them from doing it again. Warning points should only be used if someone has continued to act after the verbal warning, or they are purposely spamming threads after threads with unnecessary/meaningless content just to up their post count. - To where they know they are breaking the rules.

Some people just have the earge to reply to every thread they view... Which is sometimes annoying.
Putting filters on things will never work. People will still reply, they will just think of something else to say.

As much as may find this annoying, I disagree. When I see a page full of "GLWS" I see that whatever it is, there is a lot of interest in the thread I'm looking at.

Sometimes some people just have a lot to say :p.

I mean, of course adding some substance to a message is always better, but seeing that the community likes a product is always nice.

As a quick and easy fix to all this though, a GLWS reaction may be in order.

Seems to conflict with other users wanting to relax the warning system - http://www.mc-market.org/threads/209337
I don't do much buying/selling on MC-Market anymore, but I can definitely see how pages of "glws" can make things more difficult and should probably be dealt with. People just need to use the like button, that's really all.

I believe we just need to report the glws more often.
Even if we report it, it takes a while for it to be processed and dealt with. If we started to report them more often, it would take even longer to process because of the influx in reports.
