Hello, Minecraft community! We, the InfinteNetwork are looking for some staff positions on our server to be filled. My name is Tyler, I have been owner of other servers before, including a whitelisted FTB Infinity server, which had a small playerbase. I have over 2 years of experience with owning servers, and am starting a new one today! The reason my old servers sadly shut down was due to lack of funds. This server will be ran off of community donations and buying in game perks on the store. We are aiming to not be a pay to win sever, and any suggestions to help improve this are appreciated.


Moderator:

Description: Your job is to catch all the rule breakers on the server, including hackers, spammers and anyone acting against the rules!

Pay: This role is a voluntary role, though you will recieve in return a rank/item on the store (Not yet decided)

Builder

Description: You will build maps, spawns, hubs or anything else we ask you to build. You may specialize in a certain thing.

Pay: To start with, pay will not be an option but perks will be available for you. If we get enough donations, this could change to a paid role in a future.

Application: Choose how you would like to format your application. You must include your username, some builds and, if you have it, your Skype.

Well to start off I am currently 14 living in Wisconsin (Rather cold). I play 3 sports, football, basketball, track, and I snowboard (For fun). In minecraft wise, I am currently being taught how to be a builder and if I do say so myself, I think I am improving from when I first started to build. http://c00lcw.imgur.com/

Have you had any experience in Moderation of servers? If so, when?:
I have had a lot of experience not only in moderation area of servers but also in the administrative division. For most recent, I was an Admin on ThunderMeow Network (30-40 playerbase, highest was 100 players) as an Admin, however due to complications with the owner and manager it was shut down. I was staff on that server for 7 months starting as a Helper and working my way up to Admin. I had a lot of experience moderating servers but most were small with maybe 10 players or less. I have had about 2 years of experience of working as a staff member and helping players and understanding their needs and wants out of a server.

Why should we pick you to be staff on our server?:
I think you should pick me because of my respect, honesty, and maturity. I respect players and staff members like I would respect myself. I am very attentively to when a player/staff is speaking and hear their side of the story in an argument or situation. I know playing minecraft for 4 years now, and seeing all the staff members that don't listen to what you have to say and don't care is totally unprofessional and maybe they didn't take the game serious or the responsibility of a staff member seriously, but I am the exact opposite. I enjoy being part of a staff team to help that community and players learn and grow and stay happy because that is what a server is supposed to be, to be enjoyed. Next, I am a very honest person and try hard to be. In a situation that needs to be dealt with I won't lie or not tell the full story, no matter if it affects me or someone close that I know, telling the truth is a must in my opinion. If players are telling the truth of what happened I will give my truth of what I saw and overall resolve the situation faster. Lastly, I think you should pick me because of my maturity as a staff member, I know it bugs me when staff members are not serious or unprofessional like for example not listening to someone is not acceptable for me and hopefully you. I will also act mature and never step out of line unless it is an appropriate time to do so. I am a serious person when it comes to being part of a staff team and take it as a responsibility that I need to stay mature in order to help the server. I know when being on a server and a staff member not taking his job seriously and blowing off players and their messages is something I don't like so I want to not do that as I know it is something others may not like either. I will joke at times if it is an appropriate time, but if it is not, then I will stay in line.

Why would you like to be staff on our server?:
I would like to be staff on your server because I think I could make it a better server overall and improve the community and players thoughts of the server. Many players may feel angry at the server and I try to avoid that. I want to make sure players are having fun and enjoying the servers so they tell their friends and come back again, this will lead to keeping the server up by the players supporting it and helping it improve in new gamemodes, new plugins, new builds, etc. All that big stuff comes from the players and I think they play a great deal in how the server is run and made. I would also like to become staff on your server because I feel I can help the server improve and the server can help me improve with new experiences. If I cannot deal with a situation but another staff member can, I can learn from that staff member which will then improve me as a staff member so I can deal with the situation again. Basically it is a win : win if you ask me. Lastly, I would like to be staff on your server because I enjoy being staff on small networks/servers. For me pressure is a lot and being a server that has 300+ players a day can get stressful at times. Right now the highest count of players on a server that I have been a staff member on was 100. It is a very hard thing to do and takes a lot of energy, time, and work. I think if I start small and work my way up I will improve more and more so I can face that challenge of a large number of players at once.
