Hello.
So some words are fine to use in chat when joking with people or just to say in general without aiming it at anyone but there are others that are not. No one knows what those forbidden words are except the staff members. It would be ideal for people to know what those forbidden words are so they can at least be informed on if what they want to say is allowed or not.
While the taboo words could be used as an insult, it isn't always used as an insult which could result in someone being punished for merely messing around or just using the word in general without aiming it at anyone. Which that is totally fine, but if someone unintentionally says a taboo word, they'll get punished for it and in my opinion, it is not fine since there is nothing on MC-Market to indicate what the taboo words are.
For instance, a while back, it was fine for people to use a word, I think the word was "bitch". However, someone used the word "cunt" and was banned by MCCharity. The person was using it in a general sentence without aiming it at anyone, I believe, but that was irrelevant to MCCharity since it was a taboo word. That part is understood, in a sense, but how is anyone to know if what they're saying is a taboo word and against the rules if we are not informed of such?
Sure, it may not be suitable for the chat to see those words, but if certain words like "bitch" is allowed to be used in chat, I don't see why "cunt" wasn't. They both can be used as an insult, right? But only one is allowed, varying the context, whereas the other one isn't regardless of the context.
This would be a somewhat different thing if the punishments didn't go by what rule you broke. So for instance, taboo words usually fall under 1.6 so if you get warned for one taboo word, you'll get verbally warned for 1.6. If you say another taboo word, you'll get kicked since it'll be your second offense.
My suggestion is to indicate somewhere what the taboo words are.
And by somewhere, I mean somewhere such as the rules or wiki.
