Media (images in particular, afaik) take a ridiculous amount of time to load. Even smaller images take a while to fully appear. This GIF basically sums it up. https://i.demeng.dev/Dxtpy5PKPW.gif

Such images loaded much faster in the past, this issue seemed to have come up recently.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Not sure why not more people are reporting this, has been an issue for quite some time now and extremely annoying which is why I'm trying to avoid using mc-market for resources etc. Everything just takes way to long to load compared to other websites and forums, even YouTube, which contains only of - guess what - videos, loads a lot faster than a site with gifs and pictures.

Mc- Market may not be optimized for it. Look at all the images it is Localy Hosting. I dont know how they have the site setup exactly. But, the way it looks. Its all on 1 very Powerful Server. And then 1 Proxy server with a ton of storage. With all the poeple on the site it may not be able to keep up. They should setup a CDN around the globe. Like US and UK. Then it would split up the load. But, thats the MC-Market team.

I see it to, the load times are off the charts. It takes a good 30seconds to 2 minutes to load all the images on a resource

The reason that images take longer on MC-Market to display than on other website is because of our image proxy system, and more specifically the relatively unoptimised setup that it currently has right now with transferring data. With our move to XF2 we're entirely replacing our existing infrastructure with a much faster and more expandable solution with AWS which should result in much faster image loading moving forward.

I'll move this to the bug report archives, thank you for letting us know.
