Installing Graphic card (need a little help)

So currently, I own an Alienware x51. It has an intel i7 3300k, gtx 660, 8 gbs of ram, etc. I believe that it has an mini ITX motherboard. (I don't know a lot about motherboards.) I am looking to upgrade it to an either a GTX 1050, 1050ti, 1060 3GB, or 1060 6GB. (Depends on my budget.) Currently, my graphic card is being connected by 1 6 pin connector, and there are total of 2, 6 pin connectors on my pc. So do you connect the gtx 1050 by a 6 pin connector, or is there something eles that you have to connect it with. I do not know too much about pc's and would love to get some help. Thanks.

It depends haha. Some GTX 1050s need a 6 pin, some a 4 pin, some none. If it has a six pin slot, then a six pin from your psu will work. You won't need a different psu. And if the one you get requires less, you will find it hidden away in your case. But to answer your question, yes, if it requires a 6 pin your 6 pin will work. If it didn't for some reason, which it should, send it back or get a new psu.

1050 and 1050 ti get power from the motherboard, so you don't need to power them. Thats why people with prebuilt PCs get 1050 ti.

Also, I don't think I've ever heard of a 3300k. Did you mean 3770k?

For a 1050 and 1050ti you literally just put it in the slot and your done

OP you don't need to worry about power if you get 1050/ti.
