Intel 6700k V. Intel 7700k?

I'm going to buy a dedi to host my Minecraft factions server and I'm wondering if the extra $10 is worth getting the upgrade to a 7700k with 4.2 GHz rather than the 6700k with 4.0 GHz. It's to run a Factions server along with one other small private server on the side, they told me the 7700k would preform better but I want to verify, if so how would it compare to a 4700k?

Thank you. Do you know how it preforms compared to an i7 4790k? I might rather go with SoYouStart's plan with that which is much cheaper, I'm told the 4790k's have better MC performance than the 6700k's as well, but now that there's a new 7700k I have no clue.

The 7700k outperforms the 4790k at a lower cost. Would go for the 7700k all the way.
