Hey guys,

Just wanted to reach out and see if there was any interest in the following server spec:

We are looking to restock some dedicated servers and want to see if there is interest in the following:

AMD Ryzen 5 3600
32GB DDR4 ECC
500GB NVMe SSD
1Gbps Port @ 5TB monthly bandwidth
/30 IP block

We have a few Intel Servers available on our site but would be willing to stock AMD if there is demand.

Regards,
Alex C

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

This is the "requesting" section for people requesting hosting. This should be in "other hosting" if you're not a verified business on here.

I would just plonk this in "other hosting" :)
How much would you charge for this and where would it be? You will have difficult selling this in europe when hetzner does it for pennies

Yeah, Hetzner is a really good deal and hard to beat.

This would probably be about $70-$100 per month of out of Los Angeles, CA but depends on the included perks of course.

The 100 price would be accurate for the 64 gig, but for 32 its to high, 70-80 is more realistic. Also, the bandwidth piece makes it hard for a host to use. Fix those things and this becomes a lot more appealing.

A lot of hosts have limited amount of bandwidth. People don't need to have unmetered bandwidth for their dedicated servers. If people want unmetered, the host would need to purchase a lot more bandwidth in order to offer dedicated 1Gbps thats unmetered.

I agree, but the standard is 30tb, not 5.

Your website is very clean and I love the color pallet you chose. Additionally, your prices for VPS Hosting are very fair and cheap. I'll be considering this host in the future :)

Our issue with the 3600 is that when it comes to dedi pricing it is so similar to the 3700x that most people just end up going with the 3700x. You end up trying to sell a CPU with 2 fewer cores, a lower boost, and half the RAM for $20 cheaper and people don't bite.

Can't speak for the BW, it really depends on what you want to do. For Minecraft... on a 3600... honestly, I can't really see you passing 5TB(clean) unless you are really drowning that machine. You might get close, but I doubt you really need 30TB. But lets say you wanted to run like an HLS Stream and transcode with the 3600, 5TB is definitely not enough.

Standard depends on where you are looking at. Different providers charge different rates based on how much bandwidth costs them at their location.

Much appreciated, feel free to reach out with any questions.

Thats a great point about the CPU, I will take a look at pricing out a 3700x build.

Bandwidth all depends on the use case and if bandwidth is an issue, we have options to purchase additional bandwidth. Most use cases don't even surpass 1TB bandwidth depending on what they are hosting. The 5TB is what we allocate as a default. Just like every other resource, it's all adjustable and pricing can be flexible. Whats great about owning the hardware is being able to easily customize the packages and configurations.
