In my opinion, and probably others', the "Optimistic" rating is totally useless. It is almost always used sarcastically and does not promote any sort of constructive feedback.
We should replace this with an "Interesting" rating as it sort of gives the user more informative feedback and actually promotes a new type of rating on the forum.
I do understand that this may parallel with the "Creative" rating, but they both can be very separable. For example, a post of a page from a user's art sketchbook could be rated "Creative" and a post containing news about an event of some sort could be rated "Interesting".
You guys must also realize that using the "Informative" rating for these types of posts is sort of a misuse of the rating. Even though people quite commonly misuse these, making ratings more specific is better than anything!

Another good counterclaim, but these ratings can still be separable. A post containing information regarding an event that the user did not know can be rated "Informative" while a post regarding an event that incites a response from the user (not regarding if they actually knew about this beforehand) could be rated "Interesting".
