What kind of amount are you looking to invest? Do you expect partial ownership of the company in return?

40$ won't get you a lot. For example, our gameserver machines cost $3000 each.

Edit: Why did you change your post? (You offered 40$)

I have around $40, and i am just looking to INVEST OR BUY AN SHARE. And i wish to get x2 Back for invest or % of the monthly sale for % of share i buy from an host

In the nicest possible way, DBM are absolutely right in that you'd need to increase that amount tenfold if not a hundredfold to get any serious consideration. Setting up a share scheme plus dividend payouts would cost so much more than the 40$ in the first place.

What do you expect the host to use that 40$ for?

That good?

That's not great, although it depends what you're looking for.

Consider the idea that this new host, we'll call it SummerHost for no reason whatsoever, has 160$ + 40$ of your own investment, you want either 50% ROI (60$) or maybe 5-10% of the monthly net profits.

We'll consider this host to use the generic setup for a VPS and Game Server host:

WHMCS - 20$ Month
Pterodactyl - Free
Virtualizor - 10$ / Node / Month

That immediately knocks out 30$ of the 200$, so that's 170$ for SummerHost

We then take into consideration the need for a dedicated server, we'll assume this costs between 50-70$

That initial capital of 200$ has been immediately halved right from the start.

Next comes the hard part: Attracting Customers

The general idea is that you need to be able to manage a consistent loss for at least 6 months prior to starting profit.

That means after 6 months, your current value is -500$

Suffice to say, probably not affordable or justifiable.

How about an host that has been long run-ed? Like Pebblehost?

Ok,

I don't know any numbers from Pebblehost about expenses or profits. But that's irrelevant:

Pebblehost (to the best of my knowledge) are UK registered, which means they have certain things to follow.

First of all, that 40$ is liable to Capital Gains Tax. The next, and more pressing problem is the time and cost of setting up a proper Share Schema or Contract, that will be at least 100-200$ from any decent lawyer at the lowest.

As a result, no, it's not viable.

You don't even own your hardware and servers don't even cost that much for what hosts run on.

Strong accusations usually need proof alongside them, you sure they don't own their hardware?

Most hosts on MCMarket are budget hosts, they provide services on 5 - 10 year old (introduction date) xeons. We use the highest gen possible whilst maintaining enterprise features like IPMI for our management.

Because you just made wild accusations without any proof. Here is one of our invoices of a server being ordered. (Price is slightly lower due to better market conditions in the past) These are most components of our servers, but not all due to vendor specific hardware, such as our 10 Gbit fiber optic nics. If you doubt this too, I can provide the invoice for these as well.

LOL, you negative repped me for an accusation you obviously have shown you can't become a real company that can hold it's own. https://www.google.com/search?rlz=1...U&safe=active&ssui=on#spd=3923960905214903088

Also if your paying that much you don't understand servers at all.[DOUBLEPOST=1524677329][/DOUBLEPOST]Disclaimer
