WHAT IS INVESTIA?

Investia is a brand new project ran by a team of developers called Lizard Studios. Investia is something more than a server. Investia is bound to be a big server where people will be able to seek for Developers, Builders and any other position regarding the administration of a server. In other words, people from all over the world will be able to join this minecraft server and make a request or an offer according to what they are searching for.

A BRIEF EXPLANATION

Server owners, Developers, Builders, Investors etc. can make offers and requests regarding their needs. A player wishing to acquire the position of an offer/request will be able to contact the person who made it. After a deal is complete, players will be able to rate each other according to their service.

A small group of developers who have come with an idea that could render the idea of server recruitment easier than ever.

So, is this just another service team then?

Not at all.

This is an open server for anyone to join and request for a service or fulfill a request of another person. Therefore, it's not us doing the work the server owners need, but anyone who wishes to do exactly that.

Huh? It's any person that wants to find some work to do. It's not specific people. Neither do we guide people, it's all done by themselves. They send the server owner a message and they further discuss this or vice versa.

Then where's the money in it? Service teams make money by charging commission, and advertise themselves with sales reps. If it's all done by the user and commissioner, that drives away the possibility of making any ROI on the server.
(Other than ads, and due to the topic, it likely won't be big enough or relevant enough to do many of those)

We are aiming for a server where no one is charged. Therefore, there will be open donations for people willing to support the server. Apart from that, ads will play a role on this.

This is not a service team everyone, at least not the ones plaguing mc-market right now. The concept of teams charging freelancers a "cut" is absurd. Would you call mc-market a service team? No. Just like how spigotmc and mc-market is just a free platform for everyone to use, this team is also the same, just in the form a discord group. You don't need to extract money from people to keep a "free" discord server going. I've seen a lot of discord groups and they don't charge you anything, why would they? This is what differentiates these teams from general service teams charging their workforce (when infact the efficiency of the workforce is what keeps the team trustworthy). It's a group of developers and clients teaming together to help other developers and clients, nothing more.
