Investing in LTC, ETH & BTC?

I was just wondering if there is a Discord or chat with people who Invest in CryptoCurrency.
I am looking into investing LTC & ETH but would like some guidance in which way to go. I've found & looked into "Coinspot", but I would appreciate it if someone could guide me.

step 1: Buy some bitcoin
step 2: trade said bitcoin for desired coin
step 3: wait for the price to drop
step 4: quick sell and loose money
step 5: price rises
step 6: become sad
step 7: repeat
