See, this is a concept that I’ll never understand. You claim that investors will be reimbursed fully if the server fails. Never in my years has a failed project paid all investors back, but even if they did, this makes no sense.
If you can afford to pay all investors back upon project failure, why are you seeking investments in the first place? The inability to fund your own Minecraft server only speaks volume about how unprepared you might be.
I’m not trying to be a dick, I’m simply speaking from experience, and because I truly don’t understand why people ask for investments if they can guarantee reimbursement if it fails. If you can afford to pay them when it fails, then there’s no need to take investments in the first place.
(NOTE: I’ve invested in 6 projects in the past, 5 of which failed and I received $0 from it. And yes, all of them promised me 100% compensation if it failed. Nobody ever follows through with it)
This whole thing is good. The idea that OP can pay back all investments is quick marketing jargon to attract people. If he had money to pay back investors, he wouldn't need investments. This advertisement says absolutely nothing about the server. It's a quickly thrown together template that can easily be found on google, which makes me think that this is nothing more than a simple cash grab; a scam. That ROI graph doesn't even make sense... What type of function is that?
Xenarch is the only server I know that paid their investors back with the agreed ROI, only because the owner was a rich kid and used stolen money. If you’re asking for investments in your Minecraft server, it’s going to fail and you’re going to be banned on MCM for scamming.Hello. The reason I request Investors at this stage is to speed up the whole process, having more money atm would only mean builds, development and advertising start faster, on high quality standards.
I already invested a lot in this project myself, which I can provide proof of, to anyone interested. A guaranteed payback policy seems the most fair option since the Investors believe in your project and decide to invest in your idea, so even if it doesn't go as planned, they should get a compensation for their trust and the money sent.
I will surely get money over these months and be able to refund at the time agreed on, but due to the fact I want everything regarding my server to be high-quality, I have to request additional financial help at the time being.
It is clearly mentioned in the post that a detailed Server Plan, with all required information will be provided to possible investors. You can't seriously expect someone to post all the ideas behind a server with unique Gamemodes on a public website where everyone can steal them.
How you are able to tell it is a scam when you didn't even contact me for further details about the server? I will never understand why people constantly make false assumptions with no proof.
I'm not gonna shitpost on some wagie's thread but for anyone still seriously considering this offer I again plead with you to skip it.
I still have no idea what the server is about, and what the final product will look like.
