.VBS files can change your registry, so I'd suggest you start by checking your registry to see if anything has recently been modified. Run an antivirus, just in case anything was downloaded. If you keep regular backups of your computer (or have it set to auto backup), I highly suggest you return to a previous backup. And of course, if you care about your IP, you could always try what I said to change it (but for real this time, instead of sending it off somewhere [possibly])So say someone ran the script... So I've done a bit more research here, fritz.box:49000 seems to be the IP and port for that German router company I mentioned (FRITZ!box)'s UPnP (data sharing) service. This doesn't seem to be a virus (although a antivirus check couldn't hurt, of course), but it doesn't seem to have ANY affect on non-FRITZ!box devices, or an IP-changing effect on any device.

It's not important.
Best thing to do is just use a good VPN and not have to worry about using any dodgey scripts. Personally, I've found some to do moderately better than others and one more thing. It should be kept in a database on the website per username as to when you have voted. Doesn't really have anything to do with your IP unless you are changing username.
