So recently I bought an iphone X but after watching like 30 minutes youtuber it's getting warm, is this common?

Make sure you're taking off that plastic warp it comes in. Other than that try not to charge and use your phone at the same time

Eh, my phone gets warm after using youtube or netflix for a while but I've had zero issues with it. It just gets a little warmer.. lol. I've had it for around a year now and it's pretty much always done that. Especially, though, when I charge and use it at the same time.

I don't own an iPhone X, but I have used a friend's. They get rather hot.

I'm sure it's fine. Unless it's painful to hold it's designed to withstand the heat it generates whilst its in use.

oh, yeah I used to have a samsung a5 around a year ago in the night I tried to pickup it was to hot to hold, was scared lmao.

I heard the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 also got pretty warm sometimes.
