Hey, Im starting a hosting company and plan to sell 1$ webhosting. I am gonna even give 400mb of RAM and 2gb of SSD(Raid 10) storage. Is that a good deal and would you buy it? Also looking for investors :)

Good on us not the company
The company I want to start isn't intended for a lot of profit. Just enough to keep it running as well as pay of any investors. I want to start the company not because of money, but rather passion for the minecraft community. Will also be selling minecraft hosting at 1$/gb thats got a Intel i7 Clocked at 4.2 Ghz for good performance.

Asking for investors typically means you don't have enough money to startup?
Investors would help, its not as though I don't have sufficent funds. Investors would just help me kickstart the company by providing more funds for advertising. The company is kinda for a hobby, once the investors are paid off I might lower the pricing even more.

Ah, right I've got you now. The pricing looks amazing, to say the least, and if you advertise and manage your service correctly I'm sure you could get a ton of investors. Before asking for investors I'd recommend trying to make a business account with a brandable name and get a few vouches. Wish you the best of luck though buddy :)

Im sure when google started, the founders were millionaires. Fun fact: Googles first server had a case made of lego.

Hmm, forgot you could do that. No one ever does.

That is an absolutely tiny about of disk space, but I guess for a portfolio or something with no databases or email accounts, it's sufficient, most people on here who want cheap hosting aren't using it for super-intensive sites anyway. If that is the disk space you are offering then I would say $1 is a fair price as it's only 2GB.

Price any lower and your contributions towards the race to the bottom.

As long as you can sustain that price and cover overheads, then why not.
