Hi, I am looking ways to advertise and grow my small community. Do you guys have any experience with premium options on servers lists? (not sponsored btw) If not, what is the best way to advertise a smaller server?

Do not use a voting site. They get the least players now and charge thousands for an ad spot. Hire YouTubers, you can get tons of players and donations from their online following. Plus YouTubers would be cheaper. You can also pay someone to make you a server trailer and upload it to youtube, then advertise it with youtube(those 5 second ads before you can watch a video, yeah your trailer can be there). There is also google adwords express for your forums and server website ! These are all great options and much better than a voting site premium spot. Also if you buy a $0.99 cent domain with godaddy, you can get them to email you a $75 - $150 coupon for free google adwords/adwords express(find it under manage my domains) Good luck !
