I gotta agree. This guy is a LEGEND. I took the course as well and he teaches everything you need to know in Java. Hell, even if you aren't looking into the CS field, this course might even pull you into it. Wait for the $10 sale and grab this course. It's probably just as good and maybe even better than CodeAcademy. If you're learning Java. I'll recommend this Udemy course https://www.udemy.com/java-the-complete-java-developer-course/learn/v4/overview I have it also and it's amazing. The guy constantly updates the course. Speaking of updates. He recently updated it for Java 9 so I can't recommend this course enough. I used it. Got like halfway through but got into JavaScript so I couldn't finish it but I can say it's amazing and will teach you everything you'll need to make software. Just don't learn the basics and get into making plugins if that's your goal.
Is it free for a company?for java? definitely. They're useful for all the languages they offer, my only regret is that they seem to have only a limited amount.
The free lessons are 100% worth it, after taking those you can consider if they helped enough to make pro worth it.[DOUBLEPOST=1514068843][/DOUBLEPOST]If you think you can master it completely in 2 weeks, you could try paying the full amount for pro then getting a refund at the end of it.
I'm seriously thinking of buying it myself, but I'm gonna wait until I register my company so I can write it off as cost for the company.
I'm not sure, but I doubt you can get the entire thing free as a company. However, you COULD probably deduct the costs from your taxes, making it effectively free (assuming you're registered in a country that does that and actually PAY taxes, ofc).[DOUBLEPOST=1515229273][/DOUBLEPOST]I mean, it's one of the main benefits of having a registered company, you don't need to pay direct taxes on everything, you can deduct costs first. Depending on country, there's LOADS of things that can qualify as legitimate costs. It's a reason why I'm also in the process of registering a company despite not really planning on starting a big team. I'll be passing the tax-free income barrier in 2018, so if I have a company it'll save me a lot of money, since I can effectively pay any costs (software etc) with the difference between gross and net income. Is it free for a company?

I believe what he's referring to is writing it off as a business expense so that he doesn't need to pay taxes on it.Is it free for a company?
