Is factions community dead?

Hello,

I had a factions network about a year ago and It did very very well. I am currently a CDL driver and work fulltime from 4 AM to around 2:30 PM Mon-Friday. I have came back to MC after quiting for around a year and am wanting to re open a server for fun. Is the community dead? What would you guys recommend getting for advertisement? Thanks in advance!

It isn't really 'dead' however, more people do prefer Skyblock, HCF, things like that.

Ill have a network. I am just wandering if people would play a unique well done server. I was asking if the community died down a bit from what it used to be.

Factions is definitely dead along with prison, skyblock etc. only the top tier servers won't be dead of course cause people support the server and it gets a hella amount of traffic. But the new game play now is HCF now and days.

OG factions used to be the shit, now many of these new HCF servers are huge with all the consistent and active youtubers playing them

Greetings ObbyRaidz,
In my personal opinion as other people mentioned HCF is kind of taking the spot light over Factions. I think that there were too many "developing" server doing factions and there was no unique spotlight until people started to make HCF and gave some spice. There are some other gamemodes I can think of that are dieing to but I just tried to make it focused solely on factions in which the question was directed to.
