are u mad? cave is nowhere near to being the “most OP HCF server” ever. on caves release it barely reached 100 players

Not only that, owners got complacent and comfortable with just "good enough" so it's been the same exact thing for the past two years, with little to absolutely no change; just more ctrl+c ---> ctrl+v servers :/
I feel like HCF networks make these "massive releases" for their servers and only hold players for the first two days after SOTW.
Anything after that, the players are just done playing. I feel that it's a lack of retention since back in the day, we took the time to grind everything and valued items a lot higher than what they are granted. Now servers sell crate keys to make a profit, although it destroys the economy, basically keeping the "pay to win" aspect still in the game.
After the ramble, I feel like the gamemode can make a comeback if they went back to an official "hardcore factions" type gamemode, rather than offering crates for money, but it's very hard to see that happen when most servers owners are out to make money.

Stale, boring, same thing every SOTW and maps, normally no rewards (like fTop)
Viper introduced an ftop thing idk about other servers, nor do I know what they get for the ftop.
It's alive and well on trash servers like velt but it's nothing like what it used to be
It's still on the decline due to it being stale. After Hcteams map 15 it's been on a decline ever since, until arcane came up and removed the 'same' idea of HCF by adding custom enchants and making it p2w, but now that's getting repetitive due to velt, faithful etc.. so it's back on the decline. Also people misused the 'custom enchants' and milked it so hard for the money which also probably caused the decline.
Futhermore every HCF server is stuck on the 1.7/1.8 versions which means that it wont be attracting the newer minecraft users which obviously means that it wont be growing any time soon unless a HCF server does come out fully compatable for the latest versions, which I think RiotMC and Shotbow are working on, but halted the progress - not too sure tho.
