is hetzner good ?

anyone here knows if hetzner is good to host big mc server or a hosting company they have good dedis with cheap prices

From what I have heard their DDoS protection isnt up to much. Under a larger attack they just null route you. Would'nt say they are great for hosting any kind of game server for that reason.

No, they offer pretty slow bandwidth and no good method of DDoS mitigation.

I don't get the issue. Works well (upload affected because I'm moving files atm)

The old Hetzner really was a mess.

Hetzner was alright for me back in ~2011 (potentially 2012?) - I never really had any problems with them

They ran quite stable but when you had an issue with them, they had an issue with you which basically meant fight fight fight. Also, I hate their cancellation policy.

idk but they have change alot of things the past few years as far as i know lets see what the guy from nolag says he use hetzner so he know how everything works now

After Hetzners global upgrade with DDoS protection - I would say they are directly competing with OVH. However, one thing to keep in mind with Hetzner - Additonal IP's are billed monthly. Years ago when I had a Hetzner server and I had +30 IP's, the monthly bill for the IP's was more expensive then the actual server.
