Is it possible to get discounted Minecraft giftcodes?

Friend wants the game, but doesn't want to use alts or get aOG/Semi-OG account etc.
So is there a cheaper way to get the gift codes? Checked CDkeys and G2A already.

I would always suggest buying from the official MC website:

1. For peace of mind, you'll get a working key
2. So your not supporting hackers (as some will purchase keys using stolen credit cards and then sell them at a discounted price to make clean money(this is also known as money laundering))

As for getting some cheap keys, maybe ask around on different sites, someone should have one somewhere that they perhaps never redeemed (it happens), or look on eBay maybe? It's worth a shot

It's pretty much impossible unless you want to purchase unmigrated accounts since mojang disables codes that are being sold.

Probs gonna have to do this.

Ebay is full of alts etc. Its just he's purchased on XB twice, PE, win 10 (free i think). So he didn't want to spend £20 on it. I guess he's just gonna have to suck it up or not play on servers.
