Will younger people in 10-20 years have the chance to get on the same level with the large companies right now (Microsoft, Amazon, Apple, etc)? What do you think?

Personally I think no, unless its something brand new and never thought of before, I think thats the only way.

Also, do you think these large companies will last for a very long time? Thats a tricky question as predicting the future is incredibly hard, some may say impossible.
People thought there was going to be flying cars 30+ years ago but right now, still no flying cars.

There are tons of alcohol beverages companies that have been around for 200+ years. So what will stop even the largest companies of running?

No, the world will end in 13 years so there will be no need for capitalism or the monetary system

You are able to compete with them as long as you can find a way that differentiates your USP (unique selling point) and can gather enough funding. Of course the need for intelligence and negotiating is there as well.

Take for example FedEx started not too long ago against other companies and they found a hole in the market, next day delivery. While the only reason they are still here is due to a blackjack game... (seriously, look it up). It shows that even upstarts are able to compete with the bigger guys that have been leaders for years.

Hm I see, of course. That goes with anything pretty much. About FedEx, they were founded on 1971. Thats quite a long time ago.

Of course you can, remember in that sort of time frame there will be a LOT of new jobs and opportunities opened which will form the next Google, Amazon and so on.

Yes, most importantly we need people to drive towards new inventions and upgrading current systems on earth. Space will also become a huge industry.

I totally agree, having something new and like you said upgrading current systems ( which some are heavily out of date ) is a must.

100%. Innovation is what makes companies big, but it's also what makes them fail. The advantage of a startup over something like Google is partially that they can make quick desicions without worrying about organizing hundreds or thousands of employees while at the same time keeping your current customers satisfied with the product. Think of a founder and driving personality behind any big company. In the beginning, they could do basically what they wanted; thus the company grew. Today, you'd bet their schedule is filled with meetings. New ideas and changes that could be done in an afternoon now has to pass through far more hands than the entire startup team before it can even begin. If I were a betting man, I'd bet that 20 years from now another company has overtaken both Google and Amazon.
