Is it viable to purchase a MC Discord server?

This idea has been on my mind lately as I've been working on a new UHC server. Is it viable or a good idea to purchase a Discord server already geared toward the MC community with a decent amount of members in it? I've received multiple opinions about this from friends and my fellow owners. I want to know what you all think. I have experience in running numerous Discord communities, but I've heard different opinions regarding MC-related communities. I haven't gone this route before, either.

If the price is right, go for it. New people are more likely to join it and stay if they see a relatively good amount of members already in it. From own experience I've found it easier starting with a discord server that already has an ok amount of members, and advertise it from there. It is ofc possible to just start from scratch with a fresh server, and it saves u a bit of money, but it will take some time.
