I would definitely try to find an iPhone 8 Plus and if I couldn’t find any within my budget, I would try to find a good iPhone 7 Plus. You can find these for literally half the price of the iPhone X/XS and I personally like my iPhone 8 Plus better than the X (friend let me look at his).

Why buy an Iphone xs max when you can simply buy an iphone 10 that is literally the same thing. Chances are your eyes are unable to understand the actual quality that the phone provides.Leave your phone and opinions on it please!

I got the iPhone XR and i feel it is quite adequate and it’s a pretty noticeable size upgrade compared to my old iphone 8.
Definitely have a look at the XR because I feel it’s a better price than the xs and xs max.

There's a huge difference in the camera quality between the X and Xs. Xs is just so much better. But that's the only difference you'll feel. I would suggest waiting for September for the next iPhone to release.
Honestly, with the latest set of iPhones it comes down to the screen size and what you want from it. I think if you want that size of a phone then yeah, XS Max is okay especially if you believe you can afford it. I think the XR is a good choice for people considering it has one of the best battery life in an iPhone (it’s quite similar to XS Max) and I believe in terms of size of the phone it’s between the XS and the XS Max. It’s also about $350 cheaper if I recall.
The iPhone 8/8+ is a good phone though but considering the XR is $50 more and technically more updated with the A12 chip.
If you need the best camera in an iPhone then yes, the XS Max is the one you would want to go for.
I personally prefer iPhones because I prefer the look of the phone and I like iOS so I can’t really say if the XS Max is worth it compared to androids.

I have the XS Max. Works amazingly, I highly recommend it, but the only difference between it and my iphone x is the screen size. My dad has the note 9, I'm not a fan of Android and would recommend you getting the XS Max if you do have enough money.
I have an iPhone 7 and I love it, it works perfectly and also very important, I love how it looks, in my opinion it is the best looking iphone, i'd recommend it. But if money isn't a problem for you and you like how it looks go for it.
Also take in mind if you really need it, how it will make your life better, I'm using mine very actively, but if you aren't an active phone user, it is not worth it.

I don't personally think they're worth it. And that isn't coming from an Android fanboy! 
But based on the specs, you aren't getting a heap new in the phone. But I guess... when do you ever with Apple!?
