Is it worth putting a test server up for my resources.
I just want to know if it would encourage someone to purchase a setup instead of not purchasing it.

'Cause if it doesn't make a difference to sales then I don't know if it's worth it.

It's easy to get a good low player server. But I want to know if it increases sales potential.

As long as you’re not overspending on hosting it should be a decent investment for your resources. Although you could always do a test run of sorts and closely watch whether or not your sales go up when the server is up. If they don’t then get rid of the test server as it’s not making a difference.

I would definitely recommend getting a server for your setups or plugins, I've put more faith and bought things that I can physically test our rather than just images or a video since a lot of times it doesn't explain everything.

Another option you might consider, is instead of setting up a server just for your plugin that will sit there empty most of the time, utilize your buyers who have active servers running your plugin in a way which is easily experienced.

List the IPs to those servers on your resource page for the purpose of testing. The hosting costs are taken care of already, it’ll increase the likelihood of a purchase, make your product look more credible, and is free advertising for the server owner.

If you don’t have any buyers yet, you could offer a free or reduced price copy to server owners willing to function as your first test server.

owo I never thought of that, thanks Justis
