is making a cracked server better than a premium server?

The first time I played mc java edition it was with a cracked launcher as I myself couldn't afford minecraft, I joined a cracked minecraft server and made alot of friends but after that when I first created a server which is almost a year back it was a cracked server and most of the players were cracked players.

All the times I was a server owner I owned cracked servers with the belief of getting more players due to us allowing cracked clients.

Well that was all in the past.

I left making cracked servers and I stopped playing cracked servers as I wanted to move on and be a legit player.

Tho now I wish to make a server again and of course I'll be making it a minecraft launcher only server but I always think about how cracked servers get more players as thats the mindset I've had since day 1.

What do you say? do premium minecraft servers that is minecraft launcher only servers have the chance of getting players or is it a fact that its hard to get players?

We kinda think of premium servers like a waste of time as they barely would come as no one would leave popular servers like hypixel and alot more.

Tho when a person opens a cracked server its expected to have alot players as you're basically having all the players who have been playing trash servers.

I mean lets be honest in making a server you want to end up becoming profitable. How I see it is most people who won't even buy a Minecraft account most likely won't spend money on your server.

No, cracked launchers are against the EULA and I don't believe this method brings in more players at least not significantly. I've seen big cracked servers go to premium just from how bad the security is and you'll just run into a bunch of problems. Don't try to find shortcuts like this in hopes of growing a server, just take it step by step and put in the work.

While you can get more players that way, this is NOT a good idea, not because "cracked = illegal", but because you are giving hackers the perfect place to test and do bad stuff.

If you want to run a cracked server you need to invest in a good anticheat, anti-vpn and staff team, and even then, you are not going to get rid of the hackers, think about it, serves like Hypixel struggle a lot with cheaters, and they can safely IP-Ban the user, since they need a premium account in order to play again, lowering the chance of them getting back into the server with an alt.

You are also risking your player's information and security, as well as loosing support for plugins, providers, etc.

Short answer: while it's good to build a player base, you should never run a cracked public server unless you need to test something on a safe environment. Scratch that, not even a good player base, just don't do it.

My goal isn't to earn, i just wanna see players in my server and you're wrong about buying ranks. I've seen people buy ranks in a cracked server with a cracked account. I myself did almost buy a rank with a cracked account but my friends suggested me to buy Minecraft before doing that.

Ya I'm aware of that, just didn't think about it as we usually did some security setup while we made a server
