Then yes it's overkill, I have NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 with 8GB But Sadly can't run COD. Your could go with cheaper options for the motherboard, the cooler but will lack the nice looks.

Could of saved a lot of money and went for a Ryzen 5 3600, 2060 super, and 16gb of 3600mhz (3200 min). memory Would of ran practically all games with almost no issue (Though I doubt you'd have any in the first place).

Edit: Even a Ryzen 5 1600 would of done fine.

If you're regularly gaming and not really doing anything too heavy such as compiling programs or 3D rendering then you could save a lot more by getting a 2070 Super & 16 GB of 3200-3600mhz@CL15-16 as that's pretty much more than you need.
