Hey guys, first of all this is about dedicated vps to make a network, i am not sure if this is the right section to post, correct me if i am wrong.
I am planning on opening a network and i wanted to ask, can ovh package handle running 5 servers(skyblock 6gb, prison 8gb, facs 8gb, HFC 8gb, hub 2gb)?
This is the package i am talking about www.ovh.com/us/dedicated-servers/game/

Intel i7-4790K
4 Cores / 8 Threads
4.0 GHz / 4.4 GHz
32 GB DDR3 1333 MHz
2 x 240 GB SSD

RAID SOFT
Can it handle running this network and if so how many players would it handle?
Thanks :D

Your only problem is, you are not open, and you wouldn't need enormous amounts of RAM for the construction of your player base.
Why spend 50%+ the amount of money for something you don't exactically need (yet). Maybe look into a small 16 GB dedicated server (still an enormous amount of RAM for a new minecraft server), for the development & construction of your player-base, and then in the future move up.

I did this once (buying a server too big for my uses), and it was one of the biggest ways I've wasted money.

Well, i already have a 20-30 player base in 1 month, and it's easy for me starting something with a partner (which i already got) i can manage to get about 100+ player to play in the first month of a network not hard on me since i have irl friends willing to play and help with payments.

Network wise, it isn't the best, but for the budget they're top notch and probably the best you'll find.
Network wise, it's amazing.
What gives OVH bad publicity is inexperienced people who improperly configure their servers.

I agree, But let's for example say people who are experienced with programming for example that's my major in high school but i dont know how to make a plugin in mc, if i didnt learn i would say it's hard but in fact if u checked it would be easier than you thought it is.
People who does a wrong thing tend to put the blame on others.

I was apart of a network that fan off OVH. A lot of downtime. The connection was slow I could go on for days.

That OVH dedi can probably handle it.
Keep in mind, not perfect, but it'll work.

You could take a look at http://www.reliablesite.net though, I've heard a lot of positive stuff about those guys. :)
