Is OVH Recommended?

So i know OVH Is better than minecraft hostings because VPS Are private computers that you can use so meaning you can only access it. Minecraft Hostings use 3-4 Servers in 1 Computer which makes the servers go slow.

Idk, I think they're the same
I wanna go to OVH Since its a highly recommended one Especially for HCF Servers. Please give me your thoughts if i should go to OVH or nah​

Well,

OVH is good, but you need to know what you're doing first off. If you have no knowledge of linux and have to use Windows on your VPS, you're not going to have a better time than using a shared host (Minecraft host). Or you're going to be paying someone to set/fix it. Now that cost adds up.

Are you ready for that?

You also have to look at system security, OVH is an UNMANAGED provider. That means you have to do everything yourself. A security breach could mean the end of your VPS.

- Before you say a strong password is all you need; no you're wrong systems get breached day-in-dayout, a lot more than a "strong" password is needed.

But if you know what you're doing, you know how to secure the box(VPS), and you know how to manage OVH's DDoS Protection to be a convenience to you rather than an independence go for it. The un-restricted access is nice at times but you have to weight the pro's and cons.

OVH is of course the 'Boss' host for Mc Servers. They are extremely pricey but definitely worth it. You could also just get a dedicated server which won't have 3-4 servers on the same computer it will just have yours. Anyways which ever one you choose, GL
