Is selling a config from scratch for a plugin wrong?

Literally getting yelled at for selling a config I was thinking of making.

Now I want a refund and well I can't even get that.
This is not be over-dramatic I just want to be able to create a config and maybe spend 5 hours or whatever creating it but then be able to sell it.

There's nothing wrong with that, granted they may of made the config but your making it for others to buy so that way they don't have to spend time. And they claim they made the config and your just editing it. Editing is not the word for spending hours on a config.

This may seem dumb, but I personally think you should be able to sell a config for a plugin.

And I think the only reason IMoltress has this rule is so he can get some profits from us selling something we spend time on.


Tell me if I'm in the wrong.

Of course you can edit default config and sell them.. there is legit thousands being sold as resources on site.

You still need to check with the author to sell the config if it is a paid resource.

ShopGUI+ costs money as a plugin, and so does the config that most people buy. I've bought both, no big deal. No there is nothing wrong with selling a config you made, unless you just ripped the config from someone else.
