Is selling builds worth it?

Hey guys, just wanted to get an idea from the community (mainly other builders) whether selling builds on the MCM is worth it.

Like is buying builds on the site really popular? Because I feel like nobody does it.

Agree with the above posters. I've been a long-time lurker and I have ONLY watched out for cheap non-exclusives to purchase for myself and my server. Exclusive builds appear to be hard to sell and often you don't get enough money back to justify the time and effort you spent on them...especially after lowering your BIN for a solid month (I've seen many builds sit for weeks without getting any traction).

Thanks Nicolae for the insight. I appreciate you taking the time to let me know. I think I'll definitely be sellin non-exclusive builds. My only question to you is, what type? Is there a specific build that sells better than others? Spawns, Skywars maps, Pvp arenas?

Spawns, KoTHs, whatever is trending. You can't go wrong with building arenas or factions spawns. PvP never goes out of style.

Can't agree anymore with that, I gave up selling exclusive builds, and decided to sell a spawn size of 150x150 for like 10 as a non exclusive cause, NO ONE wanted to bid on it.

I think its worth more making setups with builds than solely builds

Spawns, KoTHs, whatever is trending. You can't go wrong with building arenas or factions spawns. PvP never goes out of style.

But I guess my main concern is this, how many people actually buy it? Will I expect like 5 or 10 buyers and that's it? Or will it continuously be purchased in say a year or two.

That depends, but it also depends on 1. advertising 2. the actual build quality vs price and 3. the type of build. Not a lot of people actually need hubs, as opposed to prisonmines.
Also, when it comes to hubs, there's lots and LOTS of competition. Idk if SchematicStore is considered a competitor, but just let me know, mods. In the meantime, go take a look there and see what you can get for $10 nonexclusively. That's why hubs often don't sell too well, unless they're great or under $5.

Also, for some info on the sites, Schematicstore takes 35% of the profits, MCM takes 0. IDk about selly but sellfy takes like <10%
