When you BID on an item in real life if you do not commit to your bid after the auction then you get banned from future auctions... I do not see why they dont do that here.

because this isn't real life.
A website is different from a videogame, this crossing the line of real-life. You would be using real money to buy these OGs right? Yes.

Just report them and they can enjoy a week suspension.

The difference is that half of the people bidding are under 18 atleast so far the ones I've seen
according to mc-market you dont need to be 18 to place bids, but whatever we are wasting our time arguing

Last I checked of the rules or them being mentioned at least, you should only place a bid if you're going to pay that amount. So yes, reporting retracted bids and wasting the seller's time in that sense is reportable. Not to mention that we can negative rep people without actually dealing with them for whatever reason on here so you can do as you please as far as neg reps.

Last I checked, this site did not run full official "auctions" of the type @op is referencing in any way. If they did, things would work VERY differently.
In addition to that, it is definitely against the rules to back out of a bid after you've won. Backing out/retracting BEFORE you win is a tricky matter, but depending on circumstances should be allowed. If I bid on something now and the bidding will continue for several weeks, then if I get chargebacked on or some other thing causes me to literally not have the money, I should be able to withdraw my bid. Same if I have some reason to believe the product is not what I initially thought it was.

In these specific cases its hard to say, since there is too little context, but I would consider just reporting them, since withdrawing a bid is, if not bannable, at least worth a shitload of warning points that result in suspension.
