I have just had a configurator named Shaadows do some Mythic Mobs for me. The thing is, he made one mob, refused to make any other mobs, and this was copy and paste work that I could have done or anyone that has read through the Mythic Mob website.

These are the screenshots. I honestly feel like I have been outright scammed.
He charged me 100% down payment for configuring a plugin he has never worked with before, then copied and pasted from the Mythic Mobs site and just tossed it to me. Then he made multiple excuses that did not line up.

Than again, MythicMobs is a pretty hard plugin to configure. Its not true you need to code it to make custom "skills", unless you actually requested for the literal mechanics to be changed.

I don't usually copy paste plainly, as I customize the skill and add my own touches. Currently going to test a client's mobs as they already sent a full payment to me and I intend to deliver HQ mobs to them. They're fairly simple, but nonetheless I must make sure they work/tested and add a few touches that I added that they did not request (hopefully client will like)

Even with their guide site, with over 5,000 lines of description, why doesn't everyone just become a MM configurator? Its hard. To read through it all and actually learn/test/perfect each mechanic/effect of each mob. If you could've done it yourself, I suggest you should.

Im sorry but you are in wrong here. You should never pay builders/configurers upfront. Pay them after you made sure that you are happy with the work they produced. Anyways, I suggest you make a scam report. How much did you pay may I ask?

To be honest, MythicMobs is not a hard plugin to configure, but it is time consuming. It would most likely take one hours of research to be able to create a mob that would suit a customer or clients need. Not 10 minutes.

And prices are a matter of personal opinion. $10-20 for a single mob? I'm pretty sure the creator of the plugin would charge less. Unless your mob has at least 20 skills per dollar, multiple plugin dependency's, and you yourself has a godlike reputation I seriously doubt a single mob would be worth $10-$20.

If that was infact the case. Around half the developers on MCM would decompile MythicMob and study it to its core, and pump out the highest quality mobs. I have around 200 mobs in my ExampleMobs. According to your prices, if I would have had someone do that for me, then thats $1000 - $2000. For a single person. Now let's say this person offers to make people mobs. 20 People, and you make more than the average American. Are you still sure that a single mob is worth $10-20?

I doubt your price was "fair", hence probably Shaadow didnt try, not trying to say that he was right to do such a poor job. However, if you can make it yourself, I suggest go for it and make it, as you seem to have lots of spare time and can proficiently make the mobs yourself.

As for people to decompile the plugin, I guess that could happen, but if the creators saw that exploit and feel people are abusing the plugin's free source, I think they'd turn it premium, though I know the creator/owner of it Xikage wouldn't want that. I use a little of the money to pay back MythicMobs, since they are pretty damn awesome. Your prices, offend me and unfortunately I don't feel much pity for you to have only paid $10 for mobs.

Sorry but he himself admitted to have never touched MythicMobs before, that is the entire topic of this thread. Whether or not someone should have the right to charge 100% downpayment for a job they have no previous experience in.

By the way "sorry just had to put my thoughts to defend other configurators" if that is the case sorry just had to put my thoughts to defend other developers | I find your prices to be much more offending, especially with the backlash that you received after posting a thread requesting a plugin. You charge $20 a monster in a game for 8+ yet you yourself are asking people to code you quadruple digit plugins for a price fourth of that. You also went on to threaten a developer that previously worked for you.

Sorry to say but I will no longer be responding to you on any of my threads, since I find it outright insane that you demand such high prices, defend scammers, and threaten people that are willing to spend time and money to work for you. You also believe you have a right to judge other people's work, and rudely demand that they comply to your every needs.
