So I have a brilliant plugin idea (doesn’t matter what), but I doubt if I have to code it in Skript or in Java.

The most of you will say: ‘Java!’, but
  1. I’m new to Java
  2. I know perfectly how I have to code the plugin in Skript
  3. The plugin will have more features with Skript
  4. The performance will have no difference
So bassicly I’m asking, if I make a super cool plugin in Skript, would you use it? And if it was the same plugin but in Java and with less features and a worse layout, would you use it? And if you would use both, which one would you prefer to use?

Respond in the poll and explain your answer.

85 - 90% of this community hates Skript. I'm personally a fan of it, helped me a ton with actually learning Java, but that's me. My recommendation to you would be to write it in whatever you know best. So it looks like Skript, so I'd write it in skript, then maybe in a few months when you're more fluent in Java, code it again in Java.

Yes, it's a lot more time, but its also a lot more experience for you. The community would prefer Java, though.

Yeah I know. It's my intention to sell it here but I'm afraid nobody wants to buy a Skript...

Not many will, some will depending on the price and what it actually is. If you're looking to make some money you're probably better to just do Java.
