So me and this guy "Bob" (not saying name for reasons) were going to trade accounts and we both already agreed and everything was set. So he sends me the info to the account and is willing to go first which is nice to see. So I am at school during this time and the only way I know is because I checked my email, But of course its blocked so I could not actually respond. So about 2 hours later he sends me a message saying I want to cancel the deal because I quote "The accounts are worth the same amount" Is that even like fair I think I should get the account because he already sent the details and everything (I have the whole conversation if needed. If i was not at school he would not have been able to do that and it would have been a fair trade. If I cant get the account I should at least be able to neg rep for it.

Did you send your account info back? Did he steal your account?

How I read it was he sent you his account info and decided to back out of the deal, so really the risk falls on you possibly stealing his account or some shit.

He sent the account info while I was at school. I was going to send account info from school for my account but school blocks mcm. then when I get home 2 hours later he changes his mind. The thing is is if I was not at school it would have been my account and a fair trade.

This is a YOU problem. YOU were at school. And like I said before, any user has the right to back out of an incomplete deal. He gave you his account info, so the risk falls onto you for now having his account info. Don't do anything to his account and if he wants to back out, back out. You can't neg rep for "time waste" or "backing out of deal" that was your fault.

Really I was at school its not really a "me problem" pretty sure 80 percent of users on this site go to it. but ok thanks for your opinion

If this guy has a MC-Market account, you can make a scam report against him as he's breaking one of the rules.

We don't know the full story; did OP tell the person who owned SnowBalls he was at school and couldn't pay until later? Was the person who owned SnowBalls okay with that? OP, you should just make a scam report and resolve the issue this way. Even if you did not pay him yet, he still backed out of the deal, which isn't actually allowed.
