The map alone would cost $1,000 if it were to look good and be of a substantial size.
No because all I need is a starter house and then just make a ton of houses going down the road and also get a plugin that when they run out of houses, it creates a new house. Also I'll need a small spawn (very small) and another house which is the second which you can buy with your balance and then a mansion which can only be bought through the donation store, I've said too much.[DOUBLEPOST=1436805560,1436805530][/DOUBLEPOST]Also my investment thread is up for anyone interested :) https://www.mc-market.org/threads/23185/

So basically there is no cities or towns there are just homes you buy that all look alike? This is basically like playing house in Minecraft?
Well the house looks different if you upgrade it which is cheaper than getting a new house, and it will have skycrapers in downtown and their will be stores where you can buy food and gas and whatnot and you can also rob the store, I'm saying too much.

I am not asking to tell me what there will be I am simply wondering how you will create a full map with $200.00 as your building budget?
That's not my building budget at all. The builders will get 10% of donations until they have reached 200$ and then they will drop their equity to uhh I forgot how much but yea it drops.

So you are recruiting a builder for 10% of donations until they reach $200.00 and then they will still remain payment from you of <%>? So basically you are saying I need builders if you build <build> I will pay you <%> until you reach $200.00 and then the <%> will drop to <%>?
Yes, I believe its fair.

And now that I think of it their will be 3 types of starter houses, each doing the same thing but looks different so that it has variety. And each will have 33.33333% of being the one that the user gets.[DOUBLEPOST=1436806395,1436806342][/DOUBLEPOST]
So you are looking to have all your builds completed for $200.00 USD plus the extra <%> that you will remain paying to the <builder> after you are established. I would really just up your budget overall especially considering any 3D item designed will go for $7+ per model and for cars they are usually $50.00+ per model and then you are not accounting for the development in which makes those cars run smoothly with no teleportation lag depending on how your mechanics work.
Oh yea I completely forgot about the texture pack, also how much is your goal?

Alright but how big overall will your map be or is this just a small town?
Oh no! It's going to be a huge, huge thing but in the road their won't be any pvp, only in the house territory and also it won't just be going straight it will also be going to the sides and whatnot, overall it will just be a mammoth of a place. But the builders won't have to build all that much, just 3 types of starter houses and whenever someone new joins, it automatically makes a new house for them. I am also most likely going to get some mediocre skyscrapers in the distance to make it look really nice.[DOUBLEPOST=1436806707,1436806670][/DOUBLEPOST]

My goal for my texturepack was $500.00 but because I am in contact with some amazing people I got them very cheap and the quality is still amazing even though we rely on a texturepack to enhance everything meaning without it the cars look 100% different, alone the original price for each car was $50.00 USD each and each gun was $25.00 - $50.00 depending on complexity and then again we went ahead and had another person design custom block textures around our current builds to enhance the scenery of a more apocalyptic world.
Yea I'm going to fix how much I'm spening for the texture pack.

I see but what I am understanding as of now is concerning because if it is GangMC, why not just re-create a map like GTA V but different and custom to your design? The homes should vary depending on location such as the "Ghetto" and then rich areas.
I just don't want it to be based off of GTA too much and rather Fast and the Furious. The 'rich' area will be next to the beach where the mansions are.

I understand but your visual of the map is very bad you give no specifics of how large the map will be or any sort of locations the map will contain besides a rich and poor area . . .
You are the one that suggested the rich and poor area and also the map gets bigger as more players join, I already said that.

Well I was assuming that is how the locations would work for homes, I am trying to get a better insight but this is proving useless, so the map automatically generates terrain, roads and homes without no lag or harm to the server?
obviously it will most likely you lag the server just a tinsy bit because I'm getting some pretty good hosting :). But I honestly couldn't figure out any other way to do this. I honestly just need some help with this and that's why in my investment thread I put that I also needed a partner to help me run it because I'm not exactly someone that can come up with a solution for everything.

Alright great but you are not helping me as a potential investor I am curious about this and you are not answering any of my questions, I would like to know the default size of the map when no-one has joined and how you are going to expand the map automatically with the homes and terrain being placed in exact <coords> and the roads and builds not overlapping.
Oh ok, didn't know you meant before no one joined, haha. It will be around 1k x 1k so that in the beginning I won't have much lag but by then when it starts getting bigger I will most likely have gotten even better hosting to support the growing need of a lag-less server.[DOUBLEPOST=1436807827,1436807777][/DOUBLEPOST]

For the second question, it will have to be another thing the dev(s) code for the server :).
