Is this guy scamming?

I was looking to trade one of my Fortnite account for Slappingboys account. I trusted him and I went first, however after giving him the details, he said that there was some stuff going on with the 2fa for the Gmail and said that he will get back to me the following day (today; note he said that at 10pm yesterday).

Now he's been offline on Discord the whole day however has been on MC-Market this morning and was playing a few games on the account a few hours ago aswell. Is this guy scamming me?

Thanks for the reply guys. What should I proceed to do at this point? Should I give him anymore time? (Because he hasn't been on Fortnite/MCM for hours now, maybe he just isn't on his PC?)

He purchased the $25 + Wingman package on the account, I'm afraid that he'll chargeback and get the account banned

you could contact Epic Games and just claim of your GMail and account getting hacked into. Or just call up and explain. Either way you most likely would get your account back and any payments on the account would probably be removed and he would fail the chargeback if Epic Games claims the guy has hacked the account if you say that. All you would have to do to show the account is yours is most likely give the username and source email and the source password. It all would be stored in there database.
